TrafegoPT, portuguese traffic APP
TráfegoPT is an AIR application I quickly made for myself, but why not share it with others, I thought. So here it is, first hand! This standalone application consists of a small virtual device which gives real-time information about traffic congestions in portuguese roads (yes, it’s only useful for portuguese drivers, I’m sorry).
The feed comes from the reliable source Estradas de Portugal S.A, and the advantage of this application is that it lets you search the traffic news by district. It’s useful when you’re just about to leave home and need a quick update about the roads you’re about to take. You need Adobe AIR runtime to be able to install it, but this means it works both on PCs and Macs.
It’s very simple, to there’s no support for this application. Future developments may include a map and advanced search, but at this time think of it as a working beta version. If you find it useful, drop me a message, I’ll be glad to hear some feedback.
